Toodyay Weather

Toodyay has four distinct seasons.

In summer, there is little rainfall and the average maximum temperature is in the mid 30's (degrees Celsius). The countryside turns a burnt orange colour, and the evenings can be spent enjoying the extra daylight.

While most of the rainfall occurs in the winter there are still plenty of beautiful sunny days. Winter enjoys mild temperatures that average 16 to 18 degrees with some days in the early 20’s. Winter evenings can be quite chilly, dropping to an average of 5 degrees Celsius, prompting many to light the log fires. 

Spring and autumn are lovely and warm with plenty of sunny days. Most of the annual events are held in spring and autumn to make the most of the ideal weather conditions. Springtime also brings an abundance of wildflowers that decorate the hills in vivid colours.
