Ordinary Council Meetings

The last meeting for 2024 will occur on 18 December 2024, commencing at 1.00pm.

These meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of every month except for January and December, commencing at 5.30pm.

Agenda Briefings

These briefings will be held one week prior to an Ordinary Council Meeting, commencing at 5.30pm.

Special Council Meetings are called from time to time by the Shire President to consider matters which arise. 

The Shire President presides at Council Meetings in accordance with the Local Government Act 1995 and Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996.

The Chief Executive Officer and the Department Managers attend Council meetings to provide advice or any other information Councillors may seek, but cannot vote or participate in debate.

Agendas are available for public inspection, at least 72 hours prior to the commencement of the meeting, from the Shire of Toodyay Administration Centre (between 8.30am and 4.30pm).

The Schedule of Council and Committee Meetings for 2024 was adopted by Council on 22 November 2023.

The Schedule of Council and Committee Meetings for 2025 was adopted by Council on 25 September 2024.
