In collaboration with the Shires of Beverley, Chittering, Dandaragan, Gingin, Northam, Toodyay and York, the Department of Transport is developing a Regional Cycling Strategy for the Avon and Central Coast region.

The Strategy will set out a long-term vision for cycling across the region, including an aspirational cycling network covering key townsites and interregional connections.

The project team has begun developing the preliminary network and wants your input to understand what is important to people riding bikes across the region, and what opportunities exist to enhance cycling experiences for local residents and showcase the region’s natural and recreational assets to visitors. Consultation closes 5pm, Friday 6 November 2020.

How to get involved

There are several ways you can provide input into the strategy. Complete the survey, use the mapping tool to comment on specific locations, or submit comments or questions via the your thoughts tab.

If you prefer to provide feedback in person, you can visit one of our community drop ins being held throughout September and October. Please see key dates for further details.
