So, you would like to get involved and make a difference? Influence your community’s long term vision and direction by becoming a Councillor? The Shire is looking for a passionate, committed and innovative leader to help guide the Toodyay community toward a bright future.
Have you ever thought about nominating to become a Councillor, but are not sure if the role is for you? An information night has been scheduled that may give you some insight into the obligations and requirements of being a Councillor.
This session is for anyone who is thinking of nominating as a candidate for the 2020 extraordinary election. You will have an opportunity to ask questions of current sitting Councillors and representatives from the Electoral Commission. The presentation is facilitated by a representative of the State Electoral Commission.
