The Shire wishes to advise residents and road users that Arc Infrastructure, the manager/operator of WA’s freight rail network, will be undertaking track maintenance works at the Anaham Hills Road (see image below) rail crossing intersection from Tuesday May 30 to mid-July 2023.
These works will require the crossing to be closed on various dates between early June and mid-July, as follows:
- Tuesday May 30: Crossing OPEN, traffic management in place
- Thursday June 8-Saturday June 10: Crossing CLOSED daily from 6.30am-2.30pm
- Saturday June 17: Crossing CLOSED from 6.30am-2.30pm
- Tuesday June 20-Wednesday June 21: Crossing CLOSED daily from 6.30am-2.30pm
- Tuesday July 4-Thursday July 6: Crossing CLOSED daily from 6.30am-2.30pm
- Day/date TBD, mid-July: Crossing CLOSED for finalisation of works
Please note that there are no viable detour options for traffic while the crossing is closed. If this is likely to affect you, Arc Infrastructure asks that you contact them via email advising of your access requirements during the above dates/times, and they will make alternative arrangements with you. Please also provide your contact details in your email so you may be kept up-to-date with any schedule changes (e.g. due to weather conditions).
To allow traffic to continue using the crossing outside of closure times, a temporary road base will be in place. Please drive with caution and follow all traffic management measures on site.
Thank you for your patience during these works. If you have any questions or would like further information, please contact Arc Infrastructure via the email link above.
Anaham Hills Road is a private road located off Northam-Toodyay Road in Dumbarton. If you will need to cross the railway intersection of this road during the dates below, please contact Arc to make alternative arrangements.
