The Shire wishes to advise that Newcastle Park’s existing playground equipment has been removed to make way for the installation of new equipment.
The new playground – which has been fully funded as part of the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program – was selected for its level of accessibility and inclusion, and will be installed in the coming weeks.
The removed equipment is being stored offsite for repurposing at a later date.
