Dumbarton Bridge New Update

Repair works to the 118 year old Dumbarton Bridge will be undertaken by a Shire appointed contractor and are scheduled to commence 20^th Jan for a duration of approximately two weeks.

To facilitate the repairs, the bridge will be closed to all traffic and vehicles directed via the adjacent gravel causeway. The Shire urges drivers to drive to conditions, obey the signs, and allow extra time for your journey.

At the completion of the works, the bridge will be brought back to full service and the current 2 tonne weight limit can be removed.
