This bench seat was a part of the Bilya Track infrastructure, funded by Lotterywest and created by the Toodyay Friends of the River.
It had been installed by volunteers and was positioned as a rest station along the track. It provided a comfortable place to view the water flowing over Extracts Weir.
Shire President, Rosemary Madasci said; "The Bilya Walk Track is becoming increasingly popular and proving to be a great asset for our community, why anyone would want to do such a thing beggars belief.
We have also had a picnic table stolen from another reserve at West Toodyay. These items are for the benefit of the public and should be respected".
