The Shire of Toodyay advises work will commence on Monday 15 July to replace three pier supports on the Newcastle Park Pedestrian Bridge.
The contractor will require approximately 10 days to complete the work.
The work site under the bridge will be fenced off to ensure safe work clearances are maintained for the public.
There will be 3 days where the bridge will be closed to pedestrian traffic between the hours of 9am and 2.30pm so that school travel is not interrupted.
The Shire urges all park users to be aware of safety requirements and stay well away from the work area while this important repair work is completed.
