Shire's Road Reseal Program

Commencing tomorrow, as part of the Shire of Toodyay’s reseal program, contractors will reseal three sections totalling 4.4km on McKnoe Drive in Morangup. Whilst it is inevitable works of this nature will cause some inconvenience and traffic delays, every endeavour will be made to ensure that this is kept to a minimum.

January has seen the reseal of over 15km of road across the Shire to help keep roads to serviceable levels and reduce future maintenance.

This year, bitumen with a 5% crumbed rubber component was selected for both its durability and sustainability aspects, resulting in over 10,000kg of tyres that would otherwise go to landfill being repurposed.
