To reduce the spread of COVID-19, the McGowan Government has introduced further restrictions on travel within Western Australia from midnight Tuesday 31 March 2020.

This means that Western Australians will not be permitted to leave their regional boundary. Police have the power to enforce these restrictions if necessary, and fines of up to $50,000 can be issued.
The Shire of Toodyay manages the Toodyay Visitor Centre, which plays a key role in promoting tourism and businesses within the Toodyay District.
Face-to-face customer service has been suspended and will remain in place until September 2020, or until further notice.
This means the Staff of the Shire of Toodyay Visitor Centre will continue to assist people with their customer service enquiries via email, on-line and telephone contact only.
